Contrast comes in many flavors. My bike ride to work today was a perfect example. At 6:59 am, the two bison in the image on the left were running next to me for a quarter mile along the bike trail that skirts Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. They were close enough that I could hear their feet pounding as my tires crunched the gravel on the bike trail. At 7:17 am, the oil refinery in the image on the right loomed on the horizon and the nearly deafening sound of the morning rush and industrial complexes buzzed in my ears.
