SLEDDING!
With a nice base of snow already on the ground from earlier in the week, and a fresh dusting on Christmas day, the girls and I decided to walk down the street to a nice sledding hill yesterday. The girls had a blast pushing each other down the hill and I was able to make a few images of this great day in the snow.

THEARTOFCYCLING.COM
I'd like to announce the arrival of theartofcycling.com! I've had this idea for a long time and finally decided to drag the idea (kicking and screaming, I might add) out of the back of my head and onto the internets. The idea is simple. I love cycling. I love photography. I like to feast my eyes on other visual art too. Theartofcycling.com is a celebration of art, cycling, and the relationship of the two. This site is in its infancy and is sure to change and morph with time. If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear from you! Email me at mitch [at] mitchkline dot com.
If you're an artist - photographer, videographer, painter, etc - send me links to your cycling-related art project.
Thanks for looking!

FROM THE VAULT - FEB 02, 2003
Feb 02, 2003 - Minneapolis, MN
Winter in Minneapolis is long, dark and cold. Riding a bicycle in these elements poses its challenges, but the experience can also be rewarding. I've enjoyed some of my most memorable cycling experiences in the most harsh weather conditions. The tranquility of riding a bicycle during a snowstorm is impossible to explain to those who haven't experienced it. The cold weather lately seemed like an appropriate time to dust off a few images I made during one of those memorable winter rides back in 2003.
